On First Friday, August 2011, Gallery5 is excited to present a new form of art to the Richmond community; selected crafts from breweries across Virginia. Featuring the top microbreweries in the state! Representatives from each brewery will be there to present tastings and talk about their crafts.

Legend Brewery w/ their “Quad” Belgium Style Ale, “Triple” Belgian Style Ale & “Hefeweizen” seasonal. Ronoake Railhouse w/ their “Track 1” and “Loose Caboose”.Blue Mountain w/ their “Full Nelson” and “Kolsch 151” & their brand new soon-to-be-opened Blue Mountain Barrel House organic line with “Mandolin” and “Dark Hollow”. And this is just the start, Gallery5 is excited to present a selection of brand new breweries to the RVA distribution scene!!

Screens ‘n’ Suds was created to enhance the public’s appreciation for the arts of screenprinting and craft beer while raising money for the MS Society and local charities.” Screens ‘n’ Suds was launched in 2009 by Brian Gearing, Ric Hersh and Sam Verrill with an annual art event and print series and has since grown to several satellite events and art projects, all raising over $10,000 for MS Society, Faison School for Autism, Young Audiences of Virginia and Hospice of Virginia. Screens ‘n’ Suds partnering breweries are some of the best and most respected in Virginia, and the now semi-annual print series has featured nationally recognized artists and designers including David Welker, Dan Grzeca, Status Serigaph, Rich Kelly, Budai and many more.
